I just went to a JW wedding. a great family not strong jw's. anyway a few strong jw's were there and it was great being with my worldly husband and being so happy and seeing them so nervous because of the questionable music or whatever they didn't approve of. I'm sure they can see that I am so so so much happier and have some lame excuse for it.

Free to remarry?
by Earnest ini wonder if anyone can help with this information?
i seem to recall that if a husband or wife commits adultery and is divorced, is it necessary for the innocent party to agree before that one can be reinstated?
regardless of that answer if the person is reinstated and wishes to remarry do they need the agreement of the innocent party before they can remarry if they wish to maintain a good standing in the congregation?.

My dad joined when he was out in his luck... raising 2 kids on his own, drinking too much, not much of a job and the JW's took over, helped with us kids, gave him a job...

From priviliged to ashamed
by wannabefree ini just finished chapter 8 of crisis of conscience.. i used to feel humbled, but priviliged to think that jehovah drew me to his organization.
so few find it and he allowed me!.
now i feel humbled, but ashamed that i never examined the religion and got sucked in.

Am I the only one who thought the GB was 100% correct when they were a JW?
by NiceDream ina few months ago i began researching my doubts on the internet about the wtbts and i came across a bunch of crazy facts.
this helped me realize this isn't "the truth.".
when i was growing up, i believed the society was always right, and we needed to obey what was in the publications.
